Course improvement phase 2

Work has started this week(28th September) on the remaining greens requiring the “drill and fill” treatment. Following the very successful works that were carried out last winter, the programme has been scheduled earlier this year to allow time for grass seed to germinate and establish before winter weather stalls growth. An encouraging number of volunteers have been recruited to help with the works, and thanks go to everyone involved in the project for their time and efforts. Members should be made aware that these works have priority on the course and your patience is greatly appreciated.
We can now look forward to all greens being slick and smooth next season.
