Welcome to Lochmaben Golf Club, Dumfries and Galloway
Famous for its wildlife and picturesque views of the Kirk Loch, Lochmaben Golf Course is a challenging experience for any golfer. The course is one of the best examples of a parkland course in the area, is very well kept and in the recent weather condition, has not been closed due to the excellent drainage work the greens staff have put in to ensure golf is available all year round.
Located only 4 miles from the M74, Lochmaben is well within travelling distance from many parts of the country, with Dumfries and Galloway being a fabulous area to visit.
The attractive 18-hole parkland golf course occupies a historic area around the Kirk Loch. Near to the second green is the site of Robert the Bruce’s Castle. Playing the third hole, you can see the remains of the defensive motte.
The par-70 course’s signature hole is the 120-yard, 8th hole, which requires a tee shot across part of the Kirk Loch.
