Famous for its wildlife and picturesque views of the Kirk Loch, Lochmaben Golf Course is a challenging experience for any golfer. Located only 4 miles from the M74, Lochmaben is well within travelling distance from many parts of the country, with Dumfries and Galloway being a fabulous area to visit.
The attractive 18-hole parkland golf course occupies a historic area around the Kirk Loch. Near to the second green is the site of Robert the Bruce’s Castle. Playing the third hole, you can see the remains of the defensive motte.
The par-70 course’s signature hole is the 120-yard, 8th hole,which requires a tee shot across part of the Kirk Loch.
A warm welcome awaits you in the comfortable clubhouse, where Shirley and her team will look after you either before or after your round of golf.
Choose from a wide variety of tasty home made snacks and meals, or maybe you will be tempted by a refreshment at the 19th hole !
