Dumfriesshire Matchplay Championship Winner!

A HUGE well done to our very own Lochmaben legends Jim Graham and Jimmy Lennox on reaching the final – proving there’s plenty life in the auld fellas yet!

After a hard-fought battle – against each other and a surprise mid-round typhoon (cheers, Mother Nature) – it was Jim who held his nerve and claimed victory after 18 dramatic holes.

Massive congratulations, Jim – and hats off to Jimmy too for a cracking performance! Pictured: the finalists on the 18th green basking in glorious sunshine – which honestly felt like a bit of banter from Mother Nature after the earlier weather tantrum.
